Are children permitted at the Delaware Pizza Brawl? What is the cost?

Children are permitted to join the Delaware Pizza Brawl! In fact, Children 5 years old and under are FREE and do not need a ticket with a paying adult. Children older than 5 years pay full price just like the adults. We encourage you to bring your entire family and reach out to your friends to bring their families.

How does the Pizza Competition work? What do we need to do to vote for our favorite pizza?

To give each restaurant the best chance at winning the Delaware Pizza Brawl and because this is a competition, competition pizza portions are limited to “bite size” (2x2 or 2 ounces).  1. Guests will be given a scoring card to use when evaluating pizzas as they check in. 2. The scoring card is designed to allow guests to judge pizzas on taste, style, ingredients, appearance, and satisfaction. 3. Each guest will have 10 points to assign to each category. The highest score possible is 10 points and the lowest is 1 point. 4. At the end of the competition, guests will turn in their scoring cards and tally all their scores together to determine a winner! 

What are festival slices and how do we purchase them? Do we get festival slices included in our ticket level?

VIP and ULTRA VIP tickets will include Festival Pizza Vouchers. General Admission Tickets will not include vouchers, but they can be purchased. Sample sheets can be purchased inside the festival gates in sheets of 5 samples for $5 ($1 per festival slice - what a deal!). ALL TICKETS LEVELS include vouchers for 1 competition slice from each pizzeria.

Waht is your Refund Policy?

All ticket purchases for the Pizza Festival are final. We do not issue refunds for any reason, including weather, if you cannot make it.

What time is the Delaware Pizza Brawl?

The event will be open at 12 pm for VIP and ULTR VIP guests.  The festival will end at 5pm. You can still hang out at the Brewery after the event, but the festivities will close promptly at 5 pm.

How late can I arrive to enter the event?

We will stop admitting entry into the festival at 3:30pm.

Can I leave the festival and come back?

There will be no re entry allowed into the festival.  Once you leave the event you will not be permitted back in.  Please plan accordingly.

Can I bring my pet?

We love our furry friends, but Pets will not be permitted entry into the festival unless they are a registered service animal with proper documentation.

What is the refund policy?

All ticket purchases for the Delaware Pizza Brawl are final. We do not issue refunds for any reason, including weather. It is a charity event so a portion of your ticket is tax deductible.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. Check the weather!

Will there be food other than pizza available?

There will be food vendors on site selling food and non alcoholic beverages.

Will I be able to park at the event?

Yes! There is limited free parking at the brewery, but we will also have a free shuttle service for free off site parking at Branmar Plaza.

Is the event handicapped accessible?

Yes! Both the indoor and outdoor areas of the event are handicapped accessible.
